The Saint George’s church in Valperga Canavese (Turin, ITALY) represents a valuable example of medieval architecture and above all it contains inside a pictorial cycle of the XV century unique of its kind, at least in Canavese, salvaged around the years 1937-39 during the restoration activities undertaken on the initiative of the “valperghese” Giorgio Anselmi (Savoia Kingdom Senator)



The association
AMICI DI SAN GIORGIO IN VALPERGA, formally set-up on November 22th 1996, pursues the following aims:


Recently the association has been given the recognition of ONLUS (Organization Non-Lucrative of Social Benefit); this allows tax concessions to the association itself and to people who want to contribute financially to support the activity.
